Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has declared the club's summer transfer business a success.
QPR have wasted no time in improving their squad in the close season, signing five players alongside the potential capture of Park Ji-Sung.
Fernandes is confident that QPR are in a position to be competitive this season as they look to establish themselves as a Premier League force.
He said: "We have done some good business already - five signings, it shows we are serious.
"It's been sensible business, we have gone step by step and we've made progress on the training ground. We've got a fantastic academy system coming and our new stadium, which really excites me."
Manager Mark Hughes will be able to call on the substantial list of reinforcements when the Hoops open their league campaign against Swansea on August 18.
