Queens Park Rangers are weighing up a January £3m move for West Ham United defender James Tomkins, according to the Daily Star.
Rangers owner Tony Fernandes recently revealed that he would provide funds for manager Neil Warnock in the winter transfer window.
The businessman is believed to be interested in targeting British youth, with Tomkins being a potential option for the newly-promoted Premier League side.
The 22-year-old is known to play at right-back and centre-back.
