Queens Park Rangers are reportedly planning a January move for Hearts defender Aaron Hickey.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene in Scotland last season when he became the youngest player to ever start a Scottish Cup final and he has continued that form in this campaign, scoring the winner in the recent Edinburgh derby against Hibernian.
According to the Daily Record, QPR boss Mark Warburton sent his scouts to watch Hickey in action on Sunday in Hearts' game with Rangers at Tynecastle, which finished 1-1.
The Scotland Under-17 international's current contract with the Jambos runs until 2021 and Craig Levein is yet to tie the former Celtic academy player down to a long-term deal.
The report suggests that QPR hope a bid of £1.5m will be enough secure Hickey's services but they will face stiff competition from several other interested parties, including Rangers, Southampton and Manchester City.
