Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is hopeful that Loic Remy will be playing for the Premier League club this season, despite his reported desire to move elsewhere.
The Frenchman was close to joining Liverpool last month, but the deal fell through over reported issues with the forward's medical.
"I'm not trying to sell him because we don't want to sell him," Redknapp told reporters in this morning's press conference. "I want to keep him, the chairman wants him to stay and we hope he does stay."
The 27-year-old, who joined QPR from Marseille last year, spent last season on loan at Newcastle United.
