Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that the club is some way off signing Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
The 25-year-old is expected to leave the Scottish champions this summer, with QPR reportedly leading the chase for his signature.
"He's a player we've made an enquiry for but I don't know where we're at," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "We're certainly not close at the moment."
Hooper, who scored 31 goals last season, has one year left on his current contract at Celtic.
