Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Rangers could line up for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against RB Leipzig.

Rangers head into Thursday's fixture against RB Leipzig without the services of both Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe.

While Morelos was recently ruled out for the remainder of the season after thigh surgery, Roofe has joined him in the treatment room with a knee injury.

At a time when Aaron Ramsey is also struggling with a hamstring problem, the attacking options of Giovanni van Bronckhorst are limited ahead of the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie.

Those issues are likely to lead to Fashion Sakala getting the nod down the middle of the attack, supported by Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent who will both come back into the team after starting Sunday's meeting at Motherwell as substitutes.

Further alterations should also be made in midfield with John Lundstram and Ryan Jack in line to support Glen Kamara in a more defensive-minded three.

That will likely result in Scott Wright being one of the players to miss out in an attacking area, despite scoring in the domestic contest at the weekend.

Calvin Bassey should be the final change to the side, the left-sided defender featuring at full-back in place of Borna Barisic.

Amad Diallo, who was substituted after half-an-hour against Motherwell due to Rangers going down to 10 men, will start the game on the substitutes' bench.

Rangers possible starting lineup: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Bassey; Kamara, Lundstram, Jack; Aribo, Sakala, Kent
