Half-Time Report: No goals between Rangers, Falkirk

Falkirk and Rangers play out a goalless first half in their Scottish Championship tie.

Rangers have reached half time in their Scottish Championship match against Falkirk level following a goalless opening 45 minutes this evening.

Cammy Bell came under pressure in the Rangers goal early on as the home side made a lively start, but the keeper saved a strike from Conor McGrandles, while the midfielder had another effort go just wide shortly after.

As the visitors started to see more of the ball, David Templeton unleashed a powerful effort from the edge of the box after Falkirk had cleared from a corner, but his driven effort just missed the target.

Bilel Mohsni came forward for a shot shortly before the break, collecting the ball from a throw-in, but the defender's finish was well high.

Falkirk tried to force the opening goal in the final moments of the half, but Blair Alston's finish failed to trouble Bell, ensuring that the sides remained all square at half time.
