Glasgow Rangers Sone Aluko has turned down the Scottish Football Association's offer of a two-match suspension for simulation.
The incident occurred during the weekend's 2-1 win over Dunfermline Athletic when the 22-year-old fell to the floor inside the area following a challenge from Martin Hardie. A penalty was awarded to Rangers which Nikica Jelavic duly converted.
SFA compliance officer Vincent Lunny has reviewed the challenge and feels that Aluko was guilty of simulation, thus he has given the Gers winger the chance to accept a two-game ban.
Aluko's failure to accept the ban will lead to a personal hearing later this week.
