Ally McCoist against social media use

Rangers boss Ally McCoist warns his players against social media use.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has claimed that he would be the "happiest manager in the world" if his players stopped using social media websites.

The Gers boss admitted that he is not a fan of his squad using sites such as Twitter and Facebook, and said that the club try their best to discourage usage.

He told reporters: "I would be the happiest manager in the world if none of my players were involved in social media.

"I don't really understand Facebook and Twitter and all the rest of it. We actively encourage players to be extremely careful and guarded in anything they do or say on these websites."

Rangers are currently top of Scottish League One.
