Lee Wallace a doubt for Rangers Scottish Cup semi-final

Rangers full-back Lee Wallace is a doubt for his side's Scottish Cup semi-final showdown with Dundee United on Saturday.

Rangers left-back Lee Wallace is a doubt for this weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final against Dundee United at Ibrox.

Wallace was forced off midway through the second half of his side's shock 1-0 defeat to Raith Rovers in the Ramsdens Cup final on Sunday.

The 26-year-old has been one of the standout performers for Ally McCoist's side so far this season as they cruised to the Scottish League One title.

However, pre-season expectations were to pick up at least two trophies this season, making Saturday's semi arguably the biggest match of the campaign for Rangers.

Wallace underwent treatment on his hip flexor injury earlier today and has not yet been officially ruled out of the match, with the club keen to wait to see if he will recover in time.

McCoist could also be without David Templeton and Andy Little for the match as they are struggling with groin and thigh injuries respectively.
