Danny Wilson is closing in on a return to former club Rangers, having reportedly completed a medical ahead of agreeing terms.
The 23-year-old announced earlier this year that he intended to leave Hearts, but he has yet to join a new side.
Celtic were among those linked with the ex-Jambos skipper, but a return to the team he left in 2010 now appears to be on the cards.
According to The Express, Wilson will link up with the Gers in the coming days along with Rob Kiernan and John Eustace.
Rangers, who missed out on promotion to the Scottish Premiership last season, are now under the guidance of Mark Warburton.
