Rangers defender Dorin Goian has turned down a lucrative offer from an unnamed Chinese club, according to his agent.
The Rangers squad recently accepted pay cuts of up to 75% for the remainder of the season to ease some of the financial problems from which the club is currently suffering.
Despite being offered the chance to double his salary in the Far East, Goian is keen to continue his career at Ibrox.
"Dorin received an offer from a club in China that would have doubled the wages he received at Rangers," his agent Florin Manea told the Daily Record.
"They would have paid him £1.5m a year but he decided not to go because he likes it at Ibrox."
Goian joined Rangers last summer from Italian side Palermo.
