Kenny Miller has claimed that former club Rangers should look to cash in on Alfredo Morelos during the next transfer window.
Having scored 77 goals from 137 appearances in all competitions, the Colombian has been linked with a future switch to Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa.
While the Scottish giants may see value in keeping the 23-year-old at Ibrox for at least another season, Miller feels that the time is right to allow the frontman to move elsewhere.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Miller said: "Ideally, Rangers want to keep their best players. But I think that, particularly in Alfredo's situation, it's been going on long enough now that summer might be the time to get the best possible deal for him and then regroup, replace and strengthen in other areas."
Morelos still has over three years remaining on his contract, allegedly putting Rangers in a position to demand in excess of £25m.
