Former Southend United defender Bilel Mohsni is hopeful that he can help Rangers return to the top flight of Scottish football after signing a two-year deal with the club.
The 26-year-old, who has had a number of off-pitch problems in the past, will officially join the Scottish outfit on September 1.
He told RangersTV: "I'm very happy to sign for Rangers. I have agreed for two years and I think it is a chance to prove that I can play in the top league and be a part of the squad.
"It would be amazing to be one of the players who help Rangers back to where Rangers belongs."
Mohsni had previously spent time on trial with a number of English clubs this summer.
