Rangers have signed out-of-contract goalkeeper Steve Simonsen on one-year deal following his successful trial at the Glasgow club.
The 34-year-old former Everton and Stoke City keeper has been training with the Ibrox outfit this summer after leaving their Scottish rivals Dundee at the end of last season.
"I am delighted to join such a massive club as Rangers," Simonsen told reporters.
"I have enjoyed my time training with the squad and everyone has made me feel very welcome in the short time I have been here and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead with this great club."
Manager Ally McCoist was looking to recruit some experienced competition for current first-choice keeper Cammy Bell after he allowed Andrew Mitchell and Scott Gallacher to leave Rangers on loan.
