Paco Jemez reveals Spain goal

Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez reveals that he is interested in becoming Spain's new head coach after Euro 2016.

Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez has admitted that he would find it difficult to turn down the chance to manage Spain.

Current La Roja boss Vicente del Bosque is widely expected to leave his post after Euro 2016 and Jemez is believed to be among the favourites to replace the 64-year-old.

Jemez has said that he "would have to adapt" to become a national team manager, but has revealed a desire to take the position.

"I would have to adapt. Everything has to be taken into account. The life of a coach is different and we have to adapt," he told Union Rayo.

"To say no would be difficult. This train passes only once in your life and if you let it through maybe you can't take it again. When you're a player, you always dream to wear [the national team's shirt]."

Jemez, 45, has been in charge of Rayo Vallecano since 2012.
