Rayo Vallecano 2-0 Getafe

A goal in either half was enough for Rayo Vallecano to claim all three points against ten-man Getafe this afternoon.

Striker Michu broke the deadlock in the 34th minute from inside the area to hand Vallecano the lead heading into the break.

Visiting Getafe's chances of getting back into the game were hampered by the sending off of Michel just after the hour mark.

Vallecano made the most of their numerical advantage three minutes later when Diego Costa headed in a cross from Jose Movilla to seal the win.
