Billy Davies: 'Forest dropped two points away at Reading'

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies believes that his team threw two points away at the Madejski Stadium, as a late Reading goal denied the Reds the victory.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies believes that his side threw two points away by conceding an injury-time equaliser at Reading this afternoon.

Stephen Kelly nodded home from a free kick in the 95th minute to cancel out Greg Halford's first-half header, meaning that Forest would have to settle for a point at the Madejski Stadium.

Davies told the official Nottingham Forest website: "Before today we were looking at a very difficult away game. Under normal circumstances we would have been quite pleased with a draw. But there's no doubt we're disappointed to have lost two points.

"We had some great chances and probably deserved to keep another clean sheet. I thought the back five worked extremely hard but we switched off with 10 seconds remaining and afforded them a free header... it should have been three wins from three."

The East Midlands side currently occupy fifth place in the Championship.
