Preview: Brentford vs. Reading

Sports Mole previews the Championship match between Reading and Brentford at Griffin Park this weekend.

Brentford will be looking to turn around their form following three defeats in their last four league matches when they host Reading in the Championship this weekend.

After a bright start to life in the second tier, the newly-promoted side lost 2-1 to Watford earlier this week, leaving them with just three points from their last four matches and 13th in the table.

Mark Warburton has no new injuries heading into this match, but will continue to be without Scott Hogan, who is out long-term with a knee ligament injury.

Meanwhile, Reading head into the match following back-to-back draws in the league, which have left them 10th in the table.

A goalless draw with Leeds United earlier this week leaves the Royals with just one defeat in their last six matches.

The club have reported no fresh injury concerns following their last match, meaning that Nigel Adkins will have the option to name an unchanged starting lineup for a third match in a row on Saturday.

This will be the first time that the sides have met since the 2001-02 season, when they shared a 1-1 draw at Griffin Park.
