Reading midfielder Joey van den Berg is said to be close to leaving the club.
Several teams in the 32-year-old's native Holland are interested in signing him, according to The Reading Chronicle.
However, Van den Berg's wage demands are reportedly deterring bids, which could force the Royals to send him out on loan during the final year of his contract.
The Dutchman has struggled to hold down a place in the Reading team, with Liam Kelly, John Swift, Dave Edwards, Leandro Bacuna and David Meyler lying ahead of him in the pecking order last season.
Van den Berg has not been included in the Reading squad for pre-season fixtures so far.
