Real Madrid Castilla missed out on the chance to climb out of the Segunda Division relegation zone as they were pegged back by fellow strugglers Real Jaen this evening.
The home side took the lead midway through the second half when Lucas tapped home a loose ball from close range.
Their lead lasted just six minutes, however, as Oscar Rico found an equaliser to keep Jaen two points clear of the bottom four.
Castilla would have climbed out of the drop zone had they claimed the victory, but the draw means that they remain two points adrift of Jaen and Mallorca.
