Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has conceded that he would be happy to give Barcelona the La Liga title back this season if it meant that his club won the Champions League for a 10th time.
The current Spanish champions are 11 points behind leaders Barca with 15 matches gone and as a result a number of pundits have written off their chances of retaining the title.
However, despite admitting that the current situation is "not ideal", Casillas has revealed that he would prefer to emerge victorious in Europe.
"I do not have to think about it. If you told me now that we would finish 25 points behind Barcelona in La Liga that is obviously not ideal as the domestic competition is very important. But if you tell me that we are going to win La Decima, I would sign for that right now," he told La Sexta.
Madrid qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League as runners-up to Borussia Dortmund.
