Antonio Conte looking forward to Real Madrid test

Juventus coach Antonio Conte cannot wait to face Real Madrid in the Champions League next month.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte has said that he is looking forward to testing his wits against Carlo Ancelotti when his side meet Real Madrid in Group B of the Champions League.

Conte said that many of his players were too inexperienced to go far last season, but with more games behind them as well as new arrivals, he believes that his side will be up for the challenge.

"This season the team have more experience and that's important," he told UEFA.com. "A lot of our players were playing in the Champions League for the first time last term.

"In Real Madrid we are facing one of the most ambitious teams, because of their history, their investments and their hunt for a tenth title. It will be a nice challenge – and an indicator of how our development is going.

"It's quite a few years since Carlo coached me. I spent two years with him, and they were wonderful and intense times. It was inevitable we'd meet again, coach to coach. That means he is getting old. Me too!"

The first meeting between the sides is on October 25 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
