Real Madrid director: 'We cannot consider ourselves favourites against Roma'

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno says that the team cannot fall into the trap of considering themselves favourites against Roma in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno has claimed that it would be dangerous to consider themselves favourites to beat Roma in their last 16 Champions League tie.

The 10-time European winners were drawn the Italian outfit in a ceremony in Nyon this morning.

"It's a very special tournament," UEFA's official website quotes Butragueno as saying.

"Roma are a tough side, they'll be really up for it and they compete well. If we see ourselves as favourites things won't go well for us. Roma are an Italian side and Italian outfits give you nothing."

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been matched with Barcelona, Chelsea will take on Paris Saint-Germain for a third season running and Manchester City will face Dynamo Kiev.
