Cristiano Ronaldo is hopeful that Real Madrid can win a third successive Champions League title after rounding off their group-stage campaign with a 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night.
Ronaldo became the first player in history to score in all six group games in a single Champions League season when he netted against Dortmund at the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos have struggled to replicate their 2016-17 form in the opening months of this season, but Ronaldo has insisted that his team are targeting yet another European Cup.
"Hopefully we can win the Champions League again. The important thing was to pass through the group stage. Our aim is to win the Champions League," Ronaldo told reporters.
Ronaldo has already scored nine times in the Champions League this season, but has only managed two goals in 10 La Liga appearances.
