Sports Mole previews the Champions League quarter-final between nine-time winners Real Madrid and Galatasaray.

With their chances of retaining their La Liga title having all but evaporated, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey are Real Madrid's best chances of adding more silverware to the trophy cabinet this season.

They are the most successful side in the history of the competition and are currently on course to win their 10th European crown.

Standing in their way in the quarter-finals are Turkish outfit Galatasaray, who are likely to start with former Madrid midfielders Wesley Sneijder and Hamit Altıntop.

Didier Drogba is also likely to start for Gala, who have not reached the last four of this tournament since 1989.

Meanwhile, hosts Madrid have an injury concern over young centre-back Raphael Varane. Should the French international not shake off his back problem, his role would go to Pepe.

These two sides have met on three previous occasions, with Istanbul-based Galatasaray leading Madrid 2-1.
