Jese Rodriguez is in line to start for Real Madrid in their Copa del Rey quarter-final against Espanyol in the Spanish capital this evening.
The Spaniard is due to replace the injured Gareth Bale in the starting XI, although Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he still does not consider the youngster an automatic pick despite his impressive form.
"Jese is fine. A starter? I don't know; it's not important if he is a starter, but rather that what he does, he does very well," he told Marca.
"Even though he may not play from the first minute, he always does well when he comes on."
The 20-year-old has scored twice in La Liga for Los Blancos this season.
