Arguably the greatest player of his generation, Zinedine Zidane has become a symbol of Real Madrid despite spending just as long at Juventus during his illustrious playing career.
The jewel in the Galactico crown alongside the Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane joined Madrid in 2001 and marked his debut campaign at the club with one of the most memorable goals of all time - an exquisite volley in the final of the Champions League.
The Frenchman's trophy haul does not compare to others in this list - 'only' six pieces of silverware including one league title and one Champions League crown - but his majesty on the ball was unparalleled throughout his 225 appearances for Madrid.
What Zidane lacked in trophies as a player for Madrid, he has since made up for as a manager, becoming the first coach to ever win three successive Champions League titles before his surprise departure earlier this summer.
In total Zidane won nine trophies in less than three years at the helm, cementing his place as an icon of the club and one of their greatest ever managers, in addition to one of their greatest ever players.
