Barcelona injury, suspension news vs. Real Madrid: Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen near returns

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Real Madrid.

Barcelona will be aiming to open up a six-point lead at the top of the La Liga table when they travel to Real Madrid in El Clasico on Saturday night.

The Catalan giants have made an impressive start to the 2024-25 season, picking up 27 points from their opening 10 league matches, which has left them at the top of the division, three points clear of second-placed Los Blancos.

Hansi Flick's side beat Sevilla 5-1 in the league last weekend, before recording a 4-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night, so the visitors will enter this match full of confidence.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Real Madrid, who were 5-2 winners over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
