Juan Antonio Pizzi: 'We must move on'

Valencia boss Juan Antonio Pizzi says that his side must move on from their Europa League semi-final disappointment against Sevilla.

Valencia boss Juan Antonio Pizzi has admitted that his side must move on from their Europa League semi-final disappointment against Sevilla.

Los Che were less than one minute away from making the final of the European competition after overturning a first-leg 2-0 deficit at the Mestalla on Thursday.

However, a stoppage-time header from Sevilla midfielder Stephane Mbia sent Unai Emery's side into the final on away goals rule.

"What happened is over and the feeling we show publically is we want to regroup," Pizzi, whose side face Real Madrid in La Liga this evening, told Marca.

"We'll face it with dignity and responsibility. We have the comfort of knowing we did everything possible and we'll focus on the next two weeks of work before finishing.

"We'll try to grab any opportunity [against Madrid] to rid ourselves of the feelings we've experienced in the last few days. A win at Santiago Bernabeu can give us some joy in our life and activity. I'm not thinking about how it might benefit or harm other teams."

Valencia currently sit ninth in La Liga.
