Real Madrid and Mallorca will battle it out for a place in the Spanish Super Cup final when they face off at the King Abdullah Sports City on Thursday.
Los Blancos are competing in the mini-tournament thanks to last season's La Liga title success, while Mallorca are set to feature in the four-team format for the first time after finishing as the runners-up in the 2023-24 Copa del Rey.
Real Madrid are the current holders of the Spanish Super Cup after beating Barcelona 4-1 in the 2024 final, and they will travel to Saudi Arabia with aspirations of lifting the trophy for the 14th time.
As for Mallorca, they will be dreaming of winning the Spanish Super Cup for the second time after previously getting their hands on the silverware in 1998 when they got the better of Barcelona over two legs.
Here, Sports Mole looks at the head-to-head record and previous meetings between the two sides ahead of Thursday's semi-final clash.

Los Blancos did the league double over Mallorca during the 2023-24 campaign, winning 1-0 home and away, and they have been victorious in six of their last eight fixtures with Los Bermellones.
Mallorca did record a 1-0 victory when the two teams met at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in February 2023, though, which proved to be their first success over the capital giants since the latter stages of 2019.
The last two Mallorca wins against Real Madrid have come in Palma, but they have only beaten Los Blancos on three occasions in the league since February 2006.
Mallorca managed to hold Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw on the opening weekend of the 2024-25 campaign, though, and they did so courtesy of an excellent performance.

Rodrygo sent Real Madrid ahead in the early stages of the contest with a curling effort, but Vedat Muriqi's bullet header early in the second period proved to be enough for the points to be shared, and Los Blancos actually finished the match with 10 men, as Ferland Mendy was sent off in the final exchanges for a poor challenge on Muriqi.
In La Liga, the two sides have locked horns on 65 occasions, with Real Madrid winning 42 times to Mallorca's 11, while there have now been 12 draws following the result in the first match of the current league season.
Gonzalo Higuain and Raul are actually the joint-leading goalscorers in this fixture, having both netted nine times against Mallorca during their time with Real Madrid, while Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo and Karim Benzema all managed seven.
Real Madrid have scored 138 goals in their 65 La Liga games with Mallorca, while the Pirates have struck 57 times in this fixture, with their best league success over Los Blancos proving to be a stunning 5-1 victory at Bernabeu back in 2003.
One of their best performances against Los Blancos came on the opening weekend of the 2024-25 La Liga campaign, though, and they had opportunities to secure all three points in the latter stages of that contest.
The two sides are now set to face each other for the second time this season, and for the second occasion in the Spanish Super Cup after previously meeting in the 2003 edition.
Twenty-two years ago, Real Madrid overturned a 2-1 first-leg deficit to clinch the silverware with a 3-0 second-leg victory, which came courtesy of goals from Raul, Ronaldo and David Beckham.
