Real Madrid injury, suspension news vs. Getafe: Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni updates

Sports Mole looks at Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Getafe.

Real Madrid will be aiming to bounce back from a disappointing result in the Champions League when they resume their La Liga campaign at home to Getafe on Sunday afternoon.

Los Blancos lost 2-0 to Liverpool in Europe on Wednesday night, with the result leaving them down in 24th spot in the Champions League table and only just clinging onto a playoff spot.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have won their last two in league, though, which has left them second in the La Liga table, four points behind the leaders Barcelona with a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Getafe, who are down in 15th position in Spain's top flight.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 1 (vs. Getafe)

Real Madrid have recently been without the services of Tchouameni due to the ankle injury that he suffered during the Champions League contest with AC Milan on November 5, but the midfielder has a strong chance of making his return this weekend.

Rodrygo

Possible return date: December 1 (vs. Getafe)

Rodrygo suffered a muscular problem during the team's La Liga clash with Osasuna before the November international break, but the forward is back in training and is expected to return to the squad on Sunday.

Real Madrid will be without the services of Carvajal for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign due to the severe knee injury that the right-back suffered in the clash with Villarreal on October 5.

David Alaba

Alaba suffered an ACL injury last December, which has required two operations to fix; the defender has made progress in his recovery, though, and he is expected to be back on the field at the start of 2025.

Vinicius Junior
