Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has revealed that club captain Sergio Ramos will return to his starting XI for Sunday's Club World Cup final against Kashima Antlers.
Ramos missed Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Club America in the semi-finals on Thursday night after picking up a knock in training and had been seen as a doubt for the final of the showpiece tournament.
Zidane, however, has confirmed that the Spanish international "will be in the starting lineup" against the Japanese outfit, who have become the first side from Asia to reach the final of the Club World Cup.
"He is perfect and is going to be with us. I hope that he can play the match with no problems because he is our captain and will be in the starting line-up," Zidane told Marca.
Real Madrid last lifted the Club World Cup in 2014, overcoming Argentine side San Lorenzo in the final of the competition in Morocco.
