Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that his side need to pick up 100 points to win the La Liga title this season.
Madrid closed in on the top two with a 1-0 victory over Espanyol on Sunday night, but Ancelotti admits that Los Blancos will have to amass a huge point-tally to overcome Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
"It's not normal but this is the Spanish league where there are three very strong teams," Soccerway quotes the Italian as saying.
"We've said it before; 100 points is what it will take and we need to get them. It will not be easy but we have excitement and enthusiasm.
"Atletico and Barcelona are doing well and there are not many chances to cut the gap. We have to be satisfied [with Sunday's victory]."
Pepe's third goal of the season was enough to give Madrid the win needed to take them to 47 points at the halfway stage of the campaign.
