Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti keen to continue winning run

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti insists that his team will approach Tuesday's friendly with AC Milan as if it were a competitive match.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has called on his side to continue their winning run when they face AC Milan in a mid-season friendly on Tuesday.

Los Blancos have won their last 22 matches in all competitions and Ancelotti does not want a drop in form for Tuesday's clash with Milan in Dubai.

"We need to be focused, just when a team feels it's invincible is when it starts to lose. We need to be sharp mentally," Ancelotti told reporters.

"Winning helps you win. We want to keep that form up. The game [with Milan] has been scheduled since the start of our season and the key in football is being professional and hard work. It's a great opportunity to prepare ourselves for the return of La Liga."

Real Madrid return to league action against Valencia this weekend.
