Carlo Ancelotti: 'We need three wins'

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti admits that his side need to take nine points from their remaining three La Liga matches this season if they are to win the title.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has called on his side to pick up nine points from their remaining three La Liga matches this season.

Los Blancos could move to within two points of leaders Atletico Madrid with victory over Real Valladolid tomorrow evening, but would still need Atletico to drop points in their final two games if the championship is to return to the Bernabeu.

"It's the only option we have. At the moment Atletico have the advantage, because they'll be champions if they get four points," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Our aim is to win the three games and then see what happens."

Atletico travel to Barcelona on the final weekend of the season.
