Rafael Benitez talks to Cristiano Ronaldo "every day"

Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez claims that he is "tired of reading" that he does not have a good relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has played down suggestions that he has a strained relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.

It has been reported that the pair do not see eye to eye, with Ronaldo still upset that Carlo Ancelotti was relieved of his duties at the end of last season.

It is also understood that the Portuguese has not taken to Benitez's strict training methods, but the Spanish boss has said that he is "tired of reading" that he does not have a good relationship with Ronaldo, who became Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer at the weekend.

"I'm tired of reading I don't talk to Cristiano. I do it every day," Marca quotes Benitez as saying.

Real Madrid are currently in Paris ahead of Wednesday's Champions League Group A match against Paris Saint-Germain.
