Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has said that winning was the most important thing following the club's 4-0 triumph over Racing Santander.
Benzema scored twice against the struggling Spanish outfit, while teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria were also on the scoresheet. However, the Frenchman insists that it was more important to him to win than to score.
"It was a great game in the end," he said. "I do not know if the second goal was mine or Sergio [Ramos'], but I do not care because it was important to win.
"We will continue fighting until the end."
Los Blancos have taken a 13-point lead atop La Liga, while second-place Barcelona will look to reduce the deficit against Valencia later tonight.
