San Lorenzo goalkeeper Leo Franco has labelled Real Madrid's Iker Casillas Spain's best ever goalkeeper.
Franco, who will be in the opposite goal to Casillas on Saturday evening when the two sides meet in the FIFA World Club Cup final, believes that he is Spain's greatest but knows him well due to his spells at Mallorca and Atletico Madrid.
"I can only praise Iker and say that I respect him so much for what he has achieved," Franco said, according to Goal.com.
"Casillas is always there and he always plays, so it is hard to imagine a Madrid or Spain side without him in it.
"Iker is the most important goalkeeper in the history of Spanish football and I do not think that that is open for discussion."
Franco believes that his side will be under the cosh from the outset, as Madrid will be looking to extend their winning streak to 22 games.
However, Franco and his teammates believe that they can give the Champions League winners a run for their money and upset the odds.
