Jese Rodriguez 'does not regret' Real Madrid exit

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Jese Rodriguez insists that he 'does not regret' leaving Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Jese Rodriguez has insisted that he 'does not regret' leaving Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, but has conceded that it was "a difficult decision".

The Spaniard, who came through the youth system at the Bernabeu, departed Los Blancos for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window after struggling to nail down a regular spot in the first team.

The 23-year-old is yet to score for his new club, but is confident that he will 'fulfil himself as a footballer' during his time with the French champions.

"It was a difficult decision because I spent 10 years at Madrid," Jese told Le Parisien. "I do not see my departure as a failure but rather as an opportunity to demonstrate the footballer that I am. I have come to win titles and fulfil myself as a footballer."

PSG will face Arsenal in the group stages of the Champions League on Tuesday night.
