Aitor Karanka: 'Jose Mourinho gives his all for Real Madrid'

Real Madrid assistant Aitor Karanka backs Jose Mourinho after he was jeered by fans, insisting that he "gives his all" for the club.

Real Madrid assistant manager Aitor Karanka has insisted that Jose Mourinho "gives his all" for Real Madrid.

The Portuguese coach was jeered by Real fans during his side's 3-0 win over Alconya in the Copa del Rey.

Following the Spanish giants' relatively poor start to the season, it seems that Mourinho has lost the backing of some of the fans. Karanka has moved to defend the former Inter Milan boss, claiming that he is professional in his job.

"The coaching staff are there to work, the boss defends the team and is a professional who gives his all for Real Madrid," Karanka told the club's official website.

"We work for Real Madrid and we do our job. As the boss stated, it'll never be said that he isn't professional. But there's no pleasing everyone.

"You hear a lot of things from the bench. People come to the stadium and have a right to call things as they see them."

Mourinho's side face Atletico Madrid in the derby this Saturday.
