Real Madrid director heaps praise on "outstanding" Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno says that Carlo Ancelotti is the club's ideal manager.

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno has heaped praise on manager Carlo Ancelotti, describing him as an "outstanding" professional.

The businessman said that the Italian is the ideal coach to lead the Spanish giants after watching him guide them to a 5-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano to move two points clear at the top of La Liga.

"Ancelotti is an outstanding coach in every aspect," AS quotes him as saying.

"He's been at the top for 20 years, has won three European Cups and won in four different countries. There's nothing else to say.

"I know that he fits the template. He's very calm facing situations and that's very important."

Butragueno also hailed Gareth Bale, who made a goalscoring return to the starting XI against Vallecano, dubbing him as a "player of huge resource".
