Real Madrid are crowned La Liga champions for the first time in four years after a 3-0 win at Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid have been crowned La Liga champions after a 0-3 win over Athletic Bilbao at San Mames.

Gonzalo Higuain, Mesut Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo were all on the scoresheet as Los Blancos secured their first title win since 2008.

Jose Mourinho's side are now seven points ahead of rivals Barcelona on 94 points with just two games to play.

It is the Portuguese coach's first league triumph with the famous club and the 32nd in their illustrious 110-year history.

No other manager has won top-flight titles in England, Italy and Spain.
