Brazilian legend Ronaldo has hailed former Real Madrid teammate David Beckham as "one of the best of all time".
The duo played together at the Bernabeu between 2003 and 2007, combining as part of the famous Galacticos team which also featured the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos and Luis Figo.
Beckham joined Madrid from Manchester United in 2003 and, after being praised by three-time World Player of the Year Ronaldo, he admitted that the sight of the Brazilian convinced him that he had made the correct decision.
Speaking during an Instagram Live discussion, Ronaldo told Beckham: "You were one the best of all time. The way you touched the ball, the way you could put the ball wherever you wanted, without looking at me, I would just be moving and the ball came.
"I should thank you for the many balls you gave to me."
Beckham responded: "To move from Manchester United to Real Madrid was a big move for me because I'd been there my whole life. But one of the first people that I ever saw was you. When you walked into the changing room it made me feel comfortable to be in the club."
Despite being part of one of the most star-studded squads of all time, Beckham and Ronaldo won just one La Liga title during their time together at Real Madrid.
