Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is available to play in tomorrow's UEFA Super Cup against Manchester United.
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner returned to training at the weekend after being given an extended break for his participation in the Confederations Cup with Portugal.
Ronaldo was linked with a return to his former club United earlier in the summer after he was accused of tax fraud by the Spanish authorities, which led to suggestions that he wanted to leave Madrid.
When asked about whether the 32-year-old will play, Zidane told reporters: "He's relaxed and physically he is as fit as he was on the day of the final two months ago. The fact he is with us means a lot. If he's with us, it's because he is ready to play. Tomorrow, we will see if he plays or not."
Meanwhile, United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he would fight other coaches to sign Madrid's Gareth Bale if he became available.
