Report: Juventus pushing for Zinedine Zidane return

Juventus are reportedly looking to take advantage of Zinedine Zidane's uneasy relationship with Real Madrid chiefs by attempting to appoint him as their new head coach.

Juventus have reportedly been in contact with Zinedine Zidane's entourage over the possibility of the Real Madrid manager returning to Turin.

Zidane spent five seasons with Juve in his playing days before moving to Madrid, where he has since forged a career for himself as a successful coach.

The 47-year-old won 10 major honours in his first spell in charge and returned to the Bernabeu hotseat in March 2019, just 10 months after leaving.

However, the Frenchman is said to have an uneasy relationship with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, which Juventus are looking to take advantage of.

According to Le 10 Sport, the Italian champions - currently managed by Maurizio Sarri - are pushing to bring Zidane back to the club and have already reached out to his camp.

Zidane is under contract with Madrid until 2022.
