Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi has hinted that he will return to the Bernabeu this summer.
The 21-year-old has been on loan with Borussia Dortmund since the summer of 2018 and has impressed for the German side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring six times and registering six assists in 28 appearances.
Dortmund are allegedly keen to sign Hakimi on a permanent deal, while Bayern Munich have recently been credited with an interest.
As it stands, the Morocco international is due to return to Los Blancos at the end of the season, though, and the defender is seemingly determined to make the grade in the Spanish capital.
"I do not know what will happen in June, and we will discuss my future then," Hakimi told DAZN. "At the moment I am very happy at Dortmund, and I have four months left on my contract here.
"But I have always dreamed of playing in the Real Madrid first team and play with the best players in the world. [Zinedine] Zidane has made me into the player I am today, and who better to learn from, than one of the best of all time?"
Hakimi, who has a contract at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2022, has only made 17 first-team appearances for his parent club.
