Barcelona and Real Madrid both want to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Giovani Lo Celso this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Giovani Lo Celso in this summer's transfer window.

Lo Celso, 22, is currently on loan at Real Betis from PSG and has scored 12 times in 33 appearances in all competitions during the 2018-19 campaign.

According to El Desmarque, both Barca and Madrid are keen to land the midfielder at the end of the season, but Betis also have the chance to turn his loan move into a permanent transfer for £19m.

Lo Celso, who is a 10-time Argentina international, signed a five-year contract with PSG upon his arrival from Rosario Central in July 2016.

The South American made 48 appearances for his French club last term, but was deemed surplus to requirements ahead of the 2018-19 season.
