Dani Carvajal has signed a new contract with Real Madrid.
Speculation yesterday claimed that the right-back was in line for a fresh deal at the Bernabeu, despite the fact that he still had four years to run under his current terms.
Los Blancos have now confirmed the news on their official Twitter page, having handed the 23-year-old an extension until the summer of 2020.
Carvajal started his career with Madrid, but he left for Bayer Leverkusen in 2012. However, just 12 months after his departure for Germany, the defender returned to the Spanish capital in a deal worth £4m.
Last season, the Spain international made 42 appearances in all competitions.
