Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has refused to confirm or deny rumours that he is considering joining Real Madrid this summer.
The 24-year-old, who was named United's Player of the Year earlier this month, has returned to his homeland for a break before he joins up with the Spain national team.
While in Madrid with his girlfriend Edurne Garcia, the shot-stopper was approached by a Cuatro TV journalist who repeatedly asked if he will sign for Real, but the player responded numerous times by saying that he does not want to discuss it.
De Gea is believed to have been targeted as a long-term replacement for Iker Casillas at the Bernabeu, but United are trying to persuade their goalkeeper to sign a new deal.
